About the founder
Chanel Caton is a visionary leader, faith-builder, and the heart behind TheChosenHer, a ministry guiding women from trauma to triumph through healing, purpose, and faith.
Rooted in her own journey of restoration, Chanel created TheChosenHer’s Trauma-Informed, Faith-Based Healing Framework, blending emotional wellness, spiritual development, and leadership empowerment. Her mission is to serve “leaders in hiding,” women who are anointed but afraid, gifted yet guarded, and called yet still healing.
Through her signature “Welcoming the Wilderness” process, Chanel teaches women to see their wilderness seasons not as punishment but as preparation, a sacred space where God refines, reveals, and restores. She equips them to confront the tension of “God called me, but I’m still bleeding” with grace, truth, and practical tools for transformation.
A Certified Trauma Support Specialist and Faith-Based Counselor, Chanel has built a movement that restores women, raises leaders, and ignites destinies, empowering every woman to rise in wholeness and walk boldly in her divine calling.
